VIDEO ESSAY: OCULUS QUEST
In this project, I embarked on a comprehensive exploration of Oculus Quest as a significant innovation in digital technology within the last five years. This involved crafting a detailed 1500-word case study alongside a 7-10 minute video essay. My focus was to delve deep into Oculus Quest's multifaceted impact and its role as a groundbreaking product in the realm of virtual reality.
Case Study and Video Essay Development:

Research and Analysis:
The case study was built upon research materials gathered for assignment 2. I delved into Oculus Quest’s background, tracing its historical, technological, social, cultural, and political roots.

Key questions were addressed: What makes Oculus Quest innovative, especially when compared to other VR technologies? What are its broad-ranging impacts, and why is it crucial to analyze this product?

Critical Theoretical Framework:
Applying critical theories learned from lectures, I analyzed Oculus Quest through various lenses, assessing its role and implications in current and future contexts.
The study also reflected on how Oculus Quest influences the fields of art and design, exploring its personal and professional relevance to me as a student in these areas.

Video Essay Production:
Utilizing After Effects and Premiere Pro, I created a video essay to accompany the written case study. This visual component included a mix of 3D animations, created in Vroid, and other materials sourced from the Internet.
The video essay not only summarized the case study’s key points but also offered a dynamic and engaging way to present the information, making the subject matter accessible to a broader audience.

Personal and Professional Insights:
I delved into how the Oculus Quest impacts my journey as an art/design student, discussing its influence on my work and potential future applications in 
my professional life.

Future Predictions:
The case study concluded with my predictions about the future trajectory of Oculus Quest, contemplating its evolution and long-term significance in the digital landscape.
